Cabinet Maker / Installer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced cabinetmaker and installer to join our team at KH Cabinets in Surrey, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and installing custom cabinets for residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble custom cabinets, including doors, drawers, shelves, countertops, and other components.

• Read and interpret blueprints, and other technical drawings to determine the best materials and methods for installation.

• Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately to fit into designated spaces.

• Install cabinets, ensuring that they are level and secure.

• Perform minor repairs and modifications on existing cabinetry.

• Troubleshoot and fix installation problems.

• Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process.

• Abide by all safety policies and regulations.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 4 years experience as a cabinetmaker and installer.

• Working knowledge of cabinetmaking and installation techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Good physical condition and strength to lift and maneuver large and heavy objects.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to communicte in English.
